A Little Rain
That has turned into a respectable storm. Guess they knew what they were talking about when they issued a flash flood watch.
I Was Just Wondering
when it became so popular for moms to film themselves breastfeeding and post it for the whole world to see. I've never had children, but I had many friends who did and breastfed them. They did it discreetly and modestly. These women aren't modest or discreet at all. Since I've had vision problems lately, I've looked for other means to fill my time and I enjoy the DIY videos on You Tube and my feed for some strange reason has become full of these breastfeeding videos from around the world. I think it should be a private bonding time between mom and child, but on many of them the child is over 2 yrs old and you can tell they enjoy the camera as much as mom does. I find them disturbing and just wondered how others feel. Maybe I'm just too old school, or just too old.
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning stitching friends. Getting a care package ready to send to my youngest son in New Mexico today. He'll appreciate it and I'm happy he's getting back on his feet and seeing the world clearly. I don't pretend to have perfect kids, a perfect life, or a perfect anything. I wouldn't change a thing. Still stitching on Betsy and getting ready for fishing tomorrow. Have a great day!

Suggestion about Chat Room Page Format
Just wondering if this could be changed - place the page numbers at the bottom of the page so that when you get to the bottom of the page you don't have to scroll back to the top of the page to go to the next page. Maybe I'm just lazy or I've missed something somehow and I'm the only person who's bothered by it. In that case, please ignore and carry on.

Good Morning
Genesis 43: 22 -34
22 "And we have brought down
other money in our hands to buy
food. We do not know who put our
money in our sacks."
23 But he said, "Peace be with you,
do not be afraid. Your God, and the
God of your father has given you
treasure in your sacks; I had your
money.'' Then he brought Simeon
out to them.
24 So the man brought the men into
Joseph's house and gave them
water, and they washed their feet
and he gave their donkeys feed.
25 Then they made the present
ready for Joseph's coming at noon,
for they heard that they would eat
bread there.
26 And when Joseph came home,
they brought him the present
which was in their hand into the
house, and bowed down before
him to the earth.
27 Then he asked them about their
well-being, and said, "Is your father
well, the old man of whom you
spoke? Is he still alive?"
28 And they answered, "Your servant
our father is in good health; he is
still alive." And they bowed their
heads down and prostrated themselves.
29 Then he lifted his eyes and saw
his brother Benjamin, his mother's son,
and said, "Is this your younger brother
of whom you spoke to me?"
And he said, "God be gracious to you, my son."
30 Now his heart yearned for his brother; so
Joseph made haste and sought somewhere
to weep. And he went into his chamber and wept
there.
31 Then he washed his face and came out; and he
restrained himself, and said, "Serve the bread."
32 So they set him a place by himself, and them
by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate
with him by themselves; because the
Egyptians could not eat food with the Hebrews,
for that is an abomination to the Egyptians.
33 And they sat before him, the firstborn according
to his birthright and the youngest according to his
youth; and the men looked in astonishment
at one another.
34 Then he took servings to them from before him,
but Benjamin's serving was five times as much as
any of theirs. So they drank and were merry with him.
Have a bless day!
Twinkle Little Star Quilt ?s
I know DIMENSIONS uses it's own floss and does anyone have thoughts of how it stacks up against to DMC and if there is enough in their kits. Also they have you using only 1 strand vs 2, opinions?
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Good Friday morning. Where did the week go? Carpet cleaned and today we're off to Potato Creek to get fishing license for Bryan (after 65 you don't have to renew), our state park pass, and boat sticker. Fishing is going to happen on Sunday and can't wait. Finished 1/4 of the Betsy Ross sampler and still working on that. Hoping for a finish by Memorial Day. Have an excellent day!

Baked Cabbage "Steaks"
I'm going to try this. I like cabbage and it sounds very easy.

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

2. Cut cabbage into 1 inch thick steaks and arrange on a baking sheet.
3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
4. Brush the olive oil mixture onto each side of the cabbage steaks.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cabbage is golden and tender.
