I am brand new at cross-stitch. If I used Carolina Linen Needlework Fabric could I do this pattern? I am expecting my first grandchild and want to make this for girl. Any guidance is appreciated!

was looking at pattern "Grace & Love Birth Sampler" Stoney Creek. Fabric calls for Ivory Cashel Linen. I noticed under your fabric the only ivory is called antique ivory. Is it the same color?

Regarding the Grace & Love Birth Sampler, can this be converted to Aida count material? I have never worked with linen and would feel more comfortable with Aida cloth. Thanks.

Absolutely beautiful. And it was the only religious birth sampler I could find.
Working up fast and the specialty stitches make it interesting. A beginner might attempt it if they are patient. Get TWO skeins of both Weeks-Dyed (Parchment and Dirt).

There's a section in the middle that looks like writing but I can't read it. Can somebody tell me what it is? Looking for something really special for a premie that weighed two pounds and is finally getting to go home this week!

To answer the first inquiry, NO, it did not come with floss, however, you may be able to order it as a kit. I did not want a "kit" just the leaflet.
I am presently working on this sampler. There will be many things I have not done before, that I will be doing on this pattern. It is more challenging than intermediate. I love a challenge, and I love learning new things, so I am up for it, however, it should not be listed as an intermediate in my opinion, unless you have done ALL the prior stitches before.
Otherwise, I am delighted to have the challenge and the pattern is absolutely perfect for my first grandchild. Thank you for providing a great variety of patterns that most cannot be purchased in a brick and mortar anywhere!
