2024 SAL: No Time Like The Present a Cross Stitch Pattern by Modern Folk Embroidery

This is the 2024 Modern Folk Embroidery Stitch-a-long (SAL), a 10-month, 10-part booklet containing all the pattern parts and info to join in on this SAL. The design is centred around the concept of time passing. If features 2 colours, has only full crosses, and can be worked on any material. Both colours have exactly 17798 crosses.

From the designer: "This design has been charted with two colours in mind. For the cover art, I chose 2 shades of floss very close to Roxy Floss Co’s “Falu Red” and “Great Lakes” (DMC 815 / 3777 and 930). The hand-dyed flosses by Roxy Floss Co are exclusively available through Evertote in Canada (www.evertote.ca). But as this is a two-tone pattern, I encourage you to be creative and choose the colours that speak the most to you. I have included four alternative colourways on this booklet’s back to inspire you. Roxy Floss Co. names and DMC alternatives are given on the page before it. "

The DMC flosses listed in our online supply listing are the ones listed on the chart that match the front cover image for the project. We've also put 14ct. White Aida fabric as a default fabric for this project but you can use whatever count and color of fabric you would like to use.
