There are many, many 1/4 stitches in every pattern and some of the placements of these 1/4 stitches is confusing. I was getting frustrated working the Eden Rose and have set it aside. These take a lot of concentration and I'm not as impressed with the patterns as I thought I would be. I'll use them every once in a while but this won't be my go to guide for roses. Not sure this would be good for beginners.

1/4 stitches
I'm just getting back to doing cross stitch. I quit because so many patterns had so many quarter stitches. I don't even like half stitches very much. I like the reviews that warn of this! So, I won't be ordering this pattern.
