The number of colors is a little overwhelming. Must pay close attention to the pattern.
It took a lot of concentration to be sure that the colors were in the right place. This is not a project that can be completed while not concentrating. In some rows, there was just one or two of a color. I found myself using multiple needles to make it easier. Am still working on it and feel it will take about another 3-4 weeks to get it finished.

My DH was retired Air Force. I thought about doing this for a long while, but after he passed, I ordered it. I am enjoying working on it. The color changes don't bother me, but the idea of leaving all the white (both in the seal and the surrounding area does) so there will be a lot of white done after the seal itself.

Like picture but not pattern
I love the pattern but I think there are too many color changes so that it makes it very hard to stitch. The colors are so close to each other so why even have to change to another color? I had to quit because I was getting stressed out doing the pattern. Stitching is supposed to be relaxing and this wasn't that for me. I will pick it up from time to time and work on it but can't work on it continually.

I made this cross stitch for an Air Force veteran as a gift. The pattern was very easy to read although it was somewhat challenging because it is so detailed. I would recommend this for someone with a lot of experience with cross stitch and not a beginner. However, it turned out great and I'm very pleased with it.

I received the 2 seals I requested but the instructions do not indicate the size of the material. I have Aida 14 count, could you please let me know what size should I use

Looking for opinions
I have just started the Air Force Seal to honor my late husband who was retired Air Force. The pattern shows a lot of white in both the design and the surrounding area. It looks like these areas are left blank...no stitches. I don't like the look of the fabric showing through what with the holes and all and there was no white floss listed in the supplies. I have no problem filling in the blank areas within the design. My question is, what about outside of the seal. That's an awful lot of white...
Opinions, please. What would you do?
