Wrong colors
I discovered the two darkest shades of brown for the bears were the wrong color. I discovered this when I went to use the third shade. I suggest you use your own DMC floss!

It was quite stunning once completed.
Easy and fun to complete. Some counting around the design and placing the name and particulars, but not difficult.

Finished size
This wasn't the first birth record I have completed. This particular one finished Slightly larger than my 11x14 frame. I had to make some outer edge adjustments to have it look properly finished. A lot of work completed to find that it is not compatible to an 11x14 frame without removing and reworking the border stitches. Was not completely satisfied with my project. Tried using a variety of frames to accommodate it, but nothing was suitable. Used only the products contained in the package. Disappointed with this product.

Do the different threads come with own identification? I am not referring to the symbols on the pattern but identification of the threads since the threads sometimes are extremely difficult to tell apart. I only sew in the daytime for that reason.

Stamped cross stitch birth record kit
Does this kit come stamped cross stitch? I would like to purchase it but I only do stamped cross stitch. If not, can you tell me another birth record kit that comes stamped???
