The Bluebird Sampler uses DMC floss to achieve the variegated look in the lighter mandalas, however using a variegated floss can achieve a similar look with less colour changes. A sprinkle of Mill Hill beads have been added for a little sparkle and texture. The design is charted in blue, but with only 4 colours, it is easily customizable to your own favorite colour.
