Celestial Sleigh Ornament Kita Cross Stitch Kit by Mill Hill

My major problem with this kit was the metallic thread that kept shredding. I went out and purchased similar thread and used that to complete the sleigh. Recipients of the sleigh were thrilled with the result.

Loved the combination of cross stitches and beads, it looks very nice finished. An improvement might be to include a backing material. I found cutting the perforated paper to be difficult, making it look nice without cutting too close. Overall very pleased, I'll be doing more.

Only problem I have with these are that the holes in the beads need to be a little larger. It is very difficult to get a needle through the hole to attach the bead. I even purchased smaller needles but still difficult.

I made this for my granddaughter. It turned out beautiful. Am ordering another one for sister and grandson.

Enjoyed stitching it ! Got enough threads (some even left, so in case I would like to stitch another one !). I really appreciate that the manufacturer ref. of the flosses are given. It helps so much, in case you had a Froggie party ! LOL I must say that I have enriched it with some Swarovski Crystal Bead 3mm. Just to make it shine more.
