Celtic Angela Cross Stitch Pattern by Kooler Design Studio

WhenI started this pattern I ordered everything it said to. When I started to find the middle I used the booklet but the middle is not where it is suppose to be. I crossed stitch one whole page before I said the Fabric is not enough. I took the pattern to my sisters house and we went to Office Depot and made copies of all the pages. There are 9 of them. We then put the pattern all together and we found the middle and I was right, the middle is not correct if you do not take the pages apart and make copies and then put the pages together otherwise you are going to be so far off. I then said I am not taking all these stitches out because there are so many that I did. So now I have to buy another piece of fabric the right size. I went out to yarn tree and used there calculator and the actual piece of aida is 21 1/2 x 24. This company that made this piece was cheap and did not want to make one big size of the pattern. Be careful ladies on this pattern. I love the piece and I am going to cross stitch it as soon as I get another Fabric. The Gold E thread you have to use is very difficult to cross stitch with also.

I am still stitching this pattern. Overall, it is very pretty, but the backstitching seems to go on and on, forever. It is also hard to pick all the backstitching out of the pattern, because of the complication of the pattern, itself. Supplying the stitcher with a secondary pattern, of just backstitching, would be helpful.

It's very pretty but the filament thread nearly drove me crazy! Very hard to work with. The wing is the worst part but it is so very pretty. Because it took so long I can hardly bring myself to pick it up and finish it, but I will because it will look stunning (from the frong) despite me!

I found this a bit difficult but it turned out beautiful. I think what I found most frustrating was the gold thread needed but found that using a shorter length worked best. My experience with Everything Cross Stitch company has always been good. Efficient and quick. Thanks for all you do.
