Checking it Twicea Cross Stitch Pattern by Artecy Cross Stitch

I’ve started working on the face. I’m really hoping that it looks right.

I started this two years ago, had a life issue and put it down. I have the pattern, but I can't find the color key. Could someone reply with a picture of it, please!

I haven’t posted in a while so I thought I’d share a new picture. For those of you who have stitched it. Is the face in the right spot?

I’m really enjoying stitching this. I am finding myself spending a lot of time searching for colors. Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to make stitching go faster?

At long last. I’m finally getting somewhere. I still have a ways to go. But I’m hopeful I’ll get it done by the end of October.

I’m just wondering for those of you that have stitched this. How long did it take you? I’m hoping to have it done by Thanksgiving next year.

I’ve followed everyone’s advice and I’m working my way across. I’ve started the Santa hat and I’m hoping that it looks like the picture.

I’ve worked my way over and started to go down. So the question I have is. Do I continue to work down and start Santa’s hat or do I go back and fill in the tree?

I've started stitching this beautiful picture. I've started in the upper left hand corner and I'm trying to decide what is the best way to work the White areas of the Hat and Beard. I'm stitching it on White fabric.

Is this pattern coloured or black and white? Thanks!

If I start in the upper left hand corner and complete page 1. Does it matter which way I go either across or down?

I know all of the Artecy patterns can be started in the upper Left hand corner. So my question is. Would it be better to have 4 inches all the way around for framing or have 3 inches all the way around?

I was thinking of buying it until I saw your post. How difficult is it?

I have three questions about this Artecy pattern and need help. 1. If I use 20 count Aida over 1, not two, will it affect the beautiful details of the project? I realize it will change the size of the project. 2. Is scribbling on the list done in cross stitch or backstitch? The pattern description page states that the project is done with full stitches, but I wanted to make sure:) 3. And now I have forgotten my third question. If I remember it, I'll post again. Oh yay! I just remembered! How many pages of the chart? Thank you.

Am finding these Artecy patterns strange to follow. Their symbols make no sense and are in no kind of order which takes time to find them as the letter symbols are in no particular order and many shapes are similar making it confusing. Many of similar shape are next to each other instead of having them separated by distinguishable symbols. I like Mystic Stitch patterns for this reason. They use the alphabet then numbers in order which makes it much easier to find when looking for the color matching symbol. The red in this pattern isn't as apple red as I thought and the face is much browner than I feel it should be. I'm not finished with it so hope by the time I do, I won't have this same opinion. I wish you would state the pattern maker on your pictures. This way, I would be able to order just Mystic Stitch designs. I've been cross stitching for 50 years and have never had pattern symbols quite like these.

I plan on using 32 count linen for this project and wanted to know how large a piece of linen I should purchase including a 6 inch border for framing. Thank you.

Is this a cover all? Also, I am looking a good pattern to do as a keepsake for my granddaughter as a Christmas gift next year. She will only be 11; however, I want something that she can treasure as an adult and then pass on to her children. Does anyone have any suggestions as a pattern choice?

I'm not a beginner but haven't cross stitched in a couple of years. How hard is this pattern? Would anyone recommend it as relaxing or will I be pulling my hair out?
