This counted cross stitch pattern of Chickadees on Coneflowers was designed from the beautiful artwork copyright of Michelle Palmer. Original image licensed through Image Connection www.iconnectart.com. Only full cross stitches are used in this pattern. It is a black and white symbol pattern.
Every pattern of this designer is hard to do in terms of constant color changes. But the beauty is that! The subtlety is exquisite. All my floral ones, bird ones, and fruits have been thought to be paintings.

To many one stitch colors.
Loved the pattern but is very hard to work. Sooo many one stitch colors.

Very large project.
Pattern wasn't too difficult just very time consuming. I only stitched one page at a time.
Did not want to get too confused in colors. Love the finally results.

Great chart
This is a large piece and took along time to complete but loved working on it. The chart is excellent - large and easy to read. There are 25 pages that fit together really well and are easy to follow. My next project will definitely be an Artecy Cross Stitch. Now I just have to decide what it will be. So many beautiful choices!

Chit-Chat:
Adding back stitching
Has anyone had any experience adding back stitching to a full cross stitch pattern like this one? I like this picture but it does lack the detailing that back stitching gives a project.
