Good Morning


Exodus 32: 21-35


21 And Moses said to Aaron,
"What did this people do to you
that you have brought so great a sin
upon them?"

22 So Aaron said, "Do not let the anger
of my lord become hot. You know
the people, that they are set on evil.


23 "For they said to me, 'Make us gods
that shall go before us; as for this
Moses, the man who brought us
out of the land of Egypt, we do
not know what has become him.'


24 And I said to them, "Whoever
has any gold, let them break it off.'
So they gave it to me, and I cast it
into the fire, and this calf came out."


25 Now when Moses saw that the people
were unrestrained (for Aaron had not
restrained them, to their shame among their
enemies),

26 then Moses stood in the entrance of the
camp, and said, "Whoever is on the Lord's
side-come to me!" And all the sons of
Levi gathered themselves together to him.


27 And he said to them, "Thus says the Lord
God of Israel: Let every man put his sword
on his side, and go in and out from entrance to
entrance throughout the camp, and let every
man kill his brother, every man his companion,
and every man his neighbor.' ''


28 So the sons of Levi did according to the
word of Moses. And about three thousand
men of the people fell that day.


29 Then Moses said, "Consecrate yourselves
today to the Lord, that He may bestow on
you a blessing this day, for every man has
opposed his son and his brother."


30 Now it came to pass on the next day
that Moses said to the people, ''You
have committed a great sin. So now
I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can
make atonement for your sin."


31 Then Moses returned to the Lord
and said, "Oh these people have
committed a great sin, and have
made for themselves a god of gold!


32 "Yet now, if You will forgive their sin-
but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your
book which You have written."


33 And the Lord said to Moses,
"Whoever has sinned against Me,
I will blot him out of My book.


34 '' Now therefore, go, lead the people
to the place of which I have spoken to
you. Behold, My Angel shall go before you.
Nevertheless, in the day when I visit for
punishment, I will visit punishment upon
them for their sin."


35 So the Lord plagued the people because
of what they did with the calf which
Aaron made.

Hello everyone! It's hard for me to believe that December is here, it seems that just a couple of weeks ago it wasn't quite yet Halloween. Where does the time go, I often wonder?!

It's the beginning of the month and time to share our new or ongoing WIPs, or recent finishes. Hi there everyone! Currently, we are unable to ship orders out to Canada. I am linking the statement from our USPS website on here but it basically states that starting on Nov 29th, USPS has temporarily suspended international mail acceptance to Canada due to the foreign postal operator indicating that they are unable to process or deliver international mail or services as a result of the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

We aren't sure how long this will be in effect but we will be monitoring any updates given to us by USPS regarding this.

I am starting an Heirloom Christmas stocking (Holiday Kitchen pattern) for my new daughter in law. I hope to have it finished for NEXT Christmas (haha). I'm having trouble seeing the tiny fabric holes in the mushroom laguna 25 count linen fabric which is stitched over two threads/holes. My question: Would it be okay to use 14 count AIDA beige/tan color instead of the 25 linen over two?
Everyone in our family has stockings made by my MIL so I'd like the stockings I make to be similar to the rest of the family's. Thank You!

Good Monday morning everyone. I hope everyone had an enjoyable, relaxing Thanksgiving. This is one Monday I'm glad I'm retired because I would have dreaded going to work after the holiday. Plus, it's very cold outside at 9 degrees with the wind chill. Today, we have to pick up Daisy's ashes and run a few small errands. Other than that it will hopefully be an ordinary day and an ordinary week. Have a good week! P.S. Love this month's Scandanavian Snowflake freebie pattern! It's next in the line up for stitching.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Today is putting up the tree day and chili in the crock pot. Yesterday I swapped the fall/Thanksgiving pieces and hung up the winter projects. With the light snow yesterday, it seemed like the time to do that. I'll be doing my last "Sheep Virtue" today for stitching. I want to clear some of my WIP's and what I have going is the Betsy Ross piece. Happy first of December.
