Norman Rockwell's "Spring Flowers"
I have not posted recently in the first of the month progress chat because of my never ending work on my family genealogy. So I decided now was the time to show you my progress on this Norman Rockwell pattern that I've had for ages and decided now was the time to get it done. I bought this pattern from The Norman Rockwell Museum at Stockbridge, Massachusetts probably around 2000. It's called "Spring Flowers" and was inspired by his wife, Molly, and her love of gardening and flowers. It shows the wall of her garden shed along with an old chair and a basket of flowers and other gardening tools. I'm about 3/4th's of the way down the pattern and hope to have it done in the next couple of weeks. It is 8"x10" on 14ct fabric. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

So glad!
Wow i am so glad i found this website for cross stitch. Not only do i see some awesome stuff but even a message board for people to help and give guidance. This is so cooool! I have to ask, has anyone ordered stuff from here ? What is the wait time? I live in Maine, not many stores left. I’ll probably order I just would love some feedback on how everything cross stitch handles orders and the products they offer???

Fall Basket Border
How do you start and end stitches in the border? Instrucions are to use single strand of floss. Pin stitch or other suggestions?

It took me two weeks
To finish the ear. It could be a while getting this one done. Forgot how much patience this project requires. This is ‘missed the butterfly” from Heaven and Earth Designs This is my first on 25 count! I think I can keep going…

A contemplative day.....
For those of you who celebrate the Easter week:Today is Maundy Thursday, which commemorates the day Jesus celebrated his final Passover and most notably washed the feet of his disciples.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good I can't believe it's Thursday already morning. Bryan will go for day two at the dentist for a cavity so it will be another morning of puppy sitting. They whine a little bit when he's gone and then know when he's on his way home. I don't know how they know that, but they do. Finishing up the backstitching on "Ducks" today and then back to "A New Constellation". I want to finish that one before Flag Day in June. Think it will be baked cod tonight and oven fries with a side of slaw. My arms will get a work out shredding the cabbage and carrots! Have a terrific Thursday.

Thursday morning~~~
Good morning everyone! It's a gorgeous but cool Maundy Thursday morning with a promise of mid-70's later. And 80's tomorrow..which is nice because the GS is out of school & I'm taking the day off to spend with him. I luv the cat & cardinal pieces...so pretty! The blueberry enclosures are great too. Le-anne, pls post pics of the new deck once it's done. It's good that you are thinking ahead so another project won't be calling your name in a few years, I would like to put a roof over my back patio but it's not in the budget right now. I think a handrail is needed for my front steps this summer. One thing at a time I guess. I did receive good news about a biopsy on my neck....what she thought was melanoma turned out not to be. I was so relieved! Here's hoping you all have a wonderful day! Deb2
