Stitched on 14ct Antique White Linen Aida from Zweigart (Fabric was coffee stained before stitching.) Fabric substitutions: 28ct Linen and evenweaves stitched over 2 threads will yield the same size.

To obtain a faded look choose any three shades of red, light, medium and dark. DMC 814, 815 & 816 will work well. Please note that you will have to keep changing the floss colors as you stitch. The design has been charted for one color only. If you’re using 3 shades of red, it’s up to you how often you change the shade you’re working with.
