Christmas Snowflakea Cross Stitch Pattern by Happiness Is Heartmade

Loved the colors, the pattern, and the overall results.

This is a beautiful pattern when finished!

This crossstitch reminded me of a quilt square and was perfect to include with my Christmas decorations. The pattern was clearly written and easy to follow. I’ve returned to cross stitching after being away from the craft for a number of years. This project, although not large was just the thing that lead me back into this wonderful needlework!

I did this on a dyed 18 ct. Aida with variegated threads. It came out beautifully!

Thr snowflake was lovely and delicate. I sewed it using three different threads (one silver) on pierced paper for ornaments. My only problem was finding places to start and end threads given the lacy pattern.

This was fun to work on. I chose dark burgundy and teal for Christmas colours, but think I will stitch it again to match other rooms.

I loved this pattern and found it to be a joy to stitch during Christmas in July stitching.
