Cirque Des Cerclesa Cross Stitch Pattern by Ink Circles

I get more compliments on this than any other cross stitch I have done. It's gorgeous and surprisingly easy. The pattern is clear and easy to work with.

I bought this as a "warm-up" since I'm just returning to cross-stitching after many years. It was a bit challenging at the beginning for someone so dreadfully out of practice, but it didn't take long to work out the rust, pick up the rhythm and remember old tricks. The pattern is so beautiful that it has kept me motivated during my slow start (okay, I'm only on page 2 of 6). I'm more encouraged and motivated as each "circle" takes shape. My only complaint: The pages are printed on both sides of the paper, which makes lining up the stitches a little more difficult as you shift to new pages. I do love that the fabric and floss are so conveniently offered, since I wanted to stitch exactly what was shown.

A striking design. The gold/amber palette is very beautiful, drawing the eye in to explore its tapestry-like pattern. I will be making 3 versions in different colours for my 3 daughters.

I'm currently working on this one. The pattern is easy to follow although I wish they used a different symbol that might be a little easier on the eye which is possible since it uses only 1 color. Breaking up the pattern in 6 blocks really helps to follow the pattern. It also allow for a variety of color options. I'm looking forward to completing this design and trying another Ink Circles pattern.
