I just finished this project as a gift for my nephew who is doing his residency. I agree with Shanna's comment though about the folding of the pattern. maybe it could be printed a different way.

quick & simple project that looks nice when done. only drawback is the pattern book its self. Unfolding it & folding the pattern makes the crease tear very easy.

Is this material plain? Or is the striped background already imprinted? I do not want the striped pattern. Looking to make this picture without it. Is this possible?
