Thank you for prayers
You came through again for me. Although Helen was in great pain after the surgery, she is now at home and healing. I am so many miles away from here, and I felt helpless until I thought of the cross stitch group. Helen, a science teacher I met while teaching helped me pack so I could start a new life in PA. She was an angel who came back into my life when I felt abandoned. She understands crafts, and is an artist herself, so she lovingly packed all my cross stitch materials and my finished projects while others were telling me to either throw it away or sell it. In all fairness, I hadn't stitched in many years--rarely since I left Arkansas. Am I glad I listened to her! Even though I have glaucoma now and one hand shakes a little, and I don't stitch as well as I did 30 years ago-- hey, I can still do it. I know that you all know how important it is that I still have some of my things! That is one of the many things she has done for me. All my thanks.
