Eliza Fisher 1803 - Reproduction Adaptationa Cross Stitch Pattern by Sambrie Stitches Designs

I purchased this antique sampler because the nature & animal motifs reminded me of my adventures with my husband. Unfortunately Patsy Tabbert wasn’t able to track down Eliza Fisher in her ancestry research. She did spend some time searching for her but there weren’t many Eliza Fishers that popped up in searches. The ones that did seemed to have Fisher as a married name. The one she was hoping would be a candidate was born in 1796 but she died the same year. Patsy was able to locate the antique store I purchased Eliza from in West Sussex but they are no longer found in searches. Please Note: this does have a lot of over one and eyelet stitches, not suitable for Aida
