An original sampler inspired by a real Quaker girl from the 18th century. The design uses a variety of stitches: full cross-stitches, crosses stitched over one thread, and Algerian eyelets (or optionally double cross-stitches). The design, when stitched on 32 count linen, would measure approximately 23 by 27cm. Stitching the full crosses with 2 pulled strands, it would require between 31 and 40 metres of 6-stranded floss.
