I purchased this item thinking it was a cross stitch kit for my granddaughted. I was very disappointed to discover that it included no cloth or floss. She could do nothing with it except use it as a pattern. I hope to return the item and get her something else.

This is one of my all-time Favorites from L&L. The challenges of bleaching the fabric just right (it took me three tries) and having the patience to finish the lace "fence" are WELL worth it. She is absolutely and totally enchanting! Every time I walk past her I smile.

Did this one years ago and love it to this day!!!! Some of the lace was a bit difficult but I would love another one with lace on it as it is beautiful. Is there another one similar?

I need more info about this pattern.
This design is absolutely beautiful but I want to make sure it's not beyond my capabilities. One reviewer mentions bleaching the fabric. Is that essential and do u start out with the blue fabric and bleach that? Are all the stitches basic cross stitch? The lace part looks intricate but I can't really tell what stitches are used from the picture. If anyone can tell me more about this pattern, I would really appreciate that!

I don't like working on linen, if I work on 14 material its easy for me to see if I get blue material how do I make the top part of this material a light yellow.
Will this work for this pattern?
