I was inspired to design this after looking for references to embroidery in my Bible. Exodus 26:36-37 contained a description of a curtain that I wanted to reproduce in a pattern. It features an embroidered curtain in three colours, red, purple and blue, and this is covered with gold coloured blackwork. Through the gap in the curtain, you can see God's light shining through. A truly inspirational piece.
This is best stitched on 28 count evenweave, and would be suitable for a stitcher with some experience. Although there are blocks of solid colour, there is delicate blackwork over the top which can sometimes be a bit tricky.
I have added two satin threads in the thread listing, but these can be substituted for non satin if you prefer.
