beautiful picture once completed. I have been cross stitching for 30+yrs & at times found this piece very difficult.The squares are very small & it's difficult to determine what the symbol is since several of them are very similar. There are TONS of half stitches,I dont know about you but I so hate them.There are several areas where it seems like all you do is change colors(for instance in the mouse you change colors about 6 times & for a couple colors you are only doing a few color.I wish the pattern would of been in color,it's very rare now adays to have a pattern in black & white.You also have to be careful because at times the backstitch covers up a symbol so you have to guess. After all those headaches you will end up with a great finished product. I love how it blends nursery rhymes with a Bible verse. I always do a Christian baby sampler but I get tired of doing Noah's Ark all the time.

I've started working on this project for my soon to be son, and it looks great so far. It's a great intermediate design, and I'm having a lot of fun doing it. It's nicer and not too cheesy, like some of the baby stuff out there. Update - Now that I've completed the project, it looks great. However, I did notice several errors on the pattern, as well as a few areas that should have contained stitches but were left blank (most noticeably around the goose). So overall, I would recommend the pattern, but keep an eye on the photo as you do it, as there are several mistakes in the pattern.

I'm working on this needlework now for my grandson's first birthday. I've really enjoyed it.
