Fun fun fun
All the bright colours made this one fun.
However, I am not a fan of kits as I don’t like the way the threads are presented.

Love the birds.
This will be the first time that I have worked on a big project on 18 count fabric. Also there are a lot of half stitches with a variety of number of threads which should give the project some dimensions. I plan on starting this project in the new year. It will be a gift for a niece.

I really enjoy stitching all of the different bird species.
This piece has more artistic effects to it which require more attention to detail than usual. However I really enjoy stitching all of the different bird species especially the bluejay bird which is the official bird of the Toronto Bluejays baseball team. As you can see I am from the Toronto, Canada area. Wish me luck as I still have to finish it. Overall it is a very lovely piece which is worth all of the time and effort to make it.

I was afraid that I would not enjoy the small stitches after doing some similar before. But it is actually working nicely and the colors are very vivid. I cannot wait to finish and frame this for my back porch area.

Feasting Frenzy
The directions say half stitch for the 2 and C but it is the same color. Is this correct? I use One strand for the 2's and 3 strands for the C's . Right? I am also doing this pattern on a 14 count Aida. Hopefully I will have enough floss.
Floss
Since this is a kit that comes with the floss, does anyone know if it is DMC floss or a no-name brand? If not, does it have a DMC conversion list? I also plan to stitch it on 14 count, but I have a fabric size calculator app! Thank you.
Size of finished piece
This calls for 18 count Aida but does not give the stitch count of project. Would like to know this info so I can figure how big this piece would be done on 14 count Aida. Thanks.
