I’m not finished with this one yet, but I’m enjoying making it. I’m about 3/4 done with the top half. Haven’t done the alphabet yet.
UPDATE—- I’ve finished it! It came out so beautiful! I did it in DMC 930.

Beautiful Design
I wanted an easy project with just one color yarn to stitch while I was recuperating from surgery. It turned out beautifully. I particularly like the blackwork border. I am planning to stitch its sister design, "Sampler In Blue."

I completed this sampler years ago! I do not like red, so I used a dark blue. It is been hanging in my kitchen for years and people are always complimenting me on how lovely it is. Great and easy project!

I'm working on this sampler right now & will probably be my entry to the TN State Fair. Love that it's all one color & not constantly changing thread. Very interesting pattern!

Based on the reviews, I had to give this one a try. Easy pattern to follow and having only one color to work with made this one a snap! Stitched on 18 count using 8 skeins of floss to complete.

i absolutely love this sampler and i'm working on a second and will stitch more for gifts. the same color only adds to the beauty. i did mine in all black and it's awesome. i can't imagine this in multiple colors. hard to find a good sampler that i like and this one's great.

I love this pattern! It is easy to stitch even though there is a lot of stitches here. Love not having to change colors. This is a good one for when you need a break from using so many different colors!!!

Chit-Chat:
aida cloth
I would like to use a 16 or 18 count Aida cloth to make the finished product smaller. For those who say they used an 18 count cloth, did you go over 2 each time or just 1-1 as I would like to do. Wondering if there might be problems with this.

New patterns!
I just got this pattern plus the two coordinating charts called Thankful Hearts and Sampler in Blue. I love them! I'm going to stitch them on 18-ct Aida in two strands for cross-stitch and one for backstitch. A friend of mine is going to stitch Thankful Hearts, so I will probably do that one first. I think I'm going to stitch it in 520.
To see the other two charts just click on "you may also like these" on the page for this pattern.
