Footprintsa Cross Stitch Pattern by Kooler Design Studio

Is this stamped or counted

My husband loves the Footprints prayer and I want to stitch one for him. I already stitched him the Serenity prayer and he has that hanging in his office. Anyway, there are two different patterns. One is pictured here and is the full prayer with the cross and the other is just the last part of the prayer and is smaller. I can't decide which one he will like better. I am leaning toward this one pictured here but it is a lot of words and a lengthy project. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is this a colored pattern in a book/leaflet?

Are there a lot of french knots in this pattern? I seem to really have a problem with them. I have looked at various places on you tube but still can't master them. Any suggestions?

Hi, The top of the Footprints Floss & Symbol listing shows the floss numbers, symbols and strand count (3 per cross-stitch, 1 per french knot/backstitch) for the first 23 colours on the list, which makes complete sense and follows the written instructions to the right of the table. However, at the bottom there are 6 rows showing 2 floss colours per row, one set of symbols, and two thread counts (1 and 2). Can I assume that this refers to 'blended' stitching (using 2 strands of the top colour and 1 strand of the bottom colour)? Thanks for your help!
