Finally Done
About a month ago I asked everyone about some design elements in this stocking. I sure appreciated everyone's insights. I left some of the elements out, but I think it adds to the simplicity of the finished stocking, especially for a little boy. This is how I choose to welcome the new additions to our family.

What do you think?
I'm working furiously on this stocking for our newest great grandson. In the border detail below the name, there are hearts between the trees. DH thinks these are too feminine for a boy, and I think they are just folk art and would be ok. I want something that is not too juvenile, so I could just leave them out, try to work out a substitute, or just go ahead and stitch them in. What do you think - help!
