This was a great stitch I did for a housewarming gift. It’s like several “mini projects” in one, so it stayed interesting and turned out beautiful!

I love this design and it stitched up so beautifully -BUT- I am not a fan of back stitching and there is a LOT of back stitching in this pattern. I would not have ordered it if I had known - every item in the picture is back-stitched, including the tiny flowers! I bought it to stitch and frame as a gift for my nephew and his wife and once I got my head around the back stitching, I finished with a great deal of satisfaction, omitting the back stitching of those tiny flowers. I had it framed more formally than shown, with a deep red mat (to match the red in the picture) and a beautiful dark brown wooden frame and gave it as a Christmas gift. They were absolutely thrilled with it (and so was I).

This project was my first project as a return stitcher. The fabric was lovely and there was more than enough floss to complete it. The instructions were clear and concise for any age... I would highly recommend this kit for any level of skill. Enjoy!
