Gingerbread Housesa Cross Stitch Pattern by Country Cottage Needleworks

Easy to follow pattern. I used the Crescent floss and the suggested fabric background color to stitch the pattern. Used petite white beads for gingerbread eyes and bodies instead of white french knots but it would look good either way. Changed the white snowflakes to one strand white and another strand of Krenik very fine white mettalic braid to give the snowflakes a bit of sparkle. I had a problem with one of the bigger snowflakes in that I was one stitch off and I had to go back and redo it so it looked exact but it was a fun pattern and is good for a beginner or advanced cross stitcher. No 1/2 or 1/4 stitches involved, just whole cross stitches!
