Ease of this pattern

This is one of the worst patterns I have ever worked. I The color of the thread is so far off what the picture shows that it isn't funny. The fabric is about 10 shades lighter than shown on the picture. If you are working the pattern because its cute. Good luck! I sure didn't find it an easy job.
