We have a winner....
DH decided he like the He Spoke design better.
I was leaning toward the other one with the cross so I am glad I asked him (thank you Denise for that suggestion).

color for lettering
I am almost done with this wonderful cross stitch, but I am a little confused by the directions and the picture for the lettering. the directions seem to indicate that all the letters are the grey color, but the picture it looks like only the "FOOTPRINTS" is in grey and the other letters are in the dark taupe and I am just unclear on this part. Anyone know ??
