I have been doing counted cross stitch for about 50 years, this pattern should have been fun, but it is anything but fun. The problem with it is, there are two color lists on the back page, one just color and the other with the symbols also in color which makes it difficult to see the symbols. This probably was done because they used the same symbols for two different colors. There are enough symbols on charts with lots of colors out there, that this is not necessary, also the chart is in color and the same problem happens, cannot read the symbols. I have an Ott light and still cannot make out the symbols for some colors. This has presented a problem for me, as I have seen other patterns on this site I would like to do but am afraid to order them as I do not know if this just how this company does them or does this apply to all. I have worked for cross stitch designers making their models and stitching models for shops across the country, I am not a novice.
