Perfect Christmas Gift
Stitched this pattern and "Hug a Nurse" for my twin grand daughters. Finished project was awesome!! Needless to say, they were thrilled and even shed a tear. I loved doing each one and am going to do the firetruck for my grandson.

Great way to appreciate a teacher
I did this design for one of my favorite teachers! She absolutely loved it, and her colleagues are all very envious too! I am discovering that there a great many of these "word play" designs that are extremely unique and fit a whole variety of events, holidays, or special thoughts. I highly recommend

Love this pattern
I am almost finished making this for my daughter who graduated in December with a degree in early childhood education. The primary colors and the hand and heart are just right to express my love for her.
I did make one change. She has always been called "exuberant" in our family. So I changed the enthusiastic in the thumb to exuberant to give it a personal touch.
The only thing I would note is that the pattern calls for Aida cloth. On the "Teaching is a Work of Heart" there are many many quarter stitches. I chose to use a 28 count even weave fabric and had no problems. I always find quarter stitches very difficult on Aida, trying to poke the needle through the fabric.
