I had never done a cross stitch that was actually more backstitch than anything else. I was a little concerned that it would be difficult to figure out where to start and such. I needn't have worried. It was actually pretty easy and came out great. Since I do a fair amount of cross stitch, I was able to use floss that I already had. I might make another one for another of my daughters who is also a runner... perhaps with different colors just for fun! I framed this one and gave it to my daughter. She absolutely LOVED it.
