Little Pond Birth Recorda Cross Stitch Kit by Dimensions

I stitched this kit for my sister's first grandchild, as her room is decorated with jungle animals. While the design is lovely, the floss is not. This floss is not DMC. It is coarse and tangles easily. As a result it is difficult to make uniform, even stitches. As a stitcher with more than 30 years of experience, I take great pride in making pieces which appear to be "polished" - i.e. stitches all look the same. If such is not important to you, then I recommend this kit without hesitation.

I have just seen this kit made up and framed and it is beautiful. If I ever get another niece or nephew I will certainly buy this and do it.
