Luke & Princess Leiaa Cross Stitch Kit by Dimensions

My first review! Although the pattern is pretty easy to follow, there are so many French Knots! Every star = 1 knot (and I am NOT good at those). After struggling, I found doing half of a half stitch (I guess you could call it a 1/4 stitch, haha) created the same look of a starry galaxy, but was much easier, even if I had to force new holes in the canvas. Also, since this was my first project on black 14 aida, I preferred to use 3 strands instead of the suggested 2 strands for each cross stitch. That way, the black background doesn't show through the colors, distracting from the design. But overall, this was quite fun and I'm happy to have completed one of the few Star Wars kits in existence. This is a gift for an avid fan in my family and I'm sure he'll love it.
