There is no reason why this should be as complicated as it is. It looks like someone took the Marine Corps seal and put it into a software that would auto-generate a pattern. There is no reason why there should be blue within the black area. There is also no stitching in the white area; it's just empty. There are 42 colors in the pattern, which is nonsense. Some of the colors include baby blue, grape, turquoise and violet, none of which make sense for the black, gold, red, white of the Marine Corps seal. I do not recommend this.

I made this for my husband because he served in the Marine Corp. He loved it.

The pattern is just small print can’t read it. Tried contacting designer with no response. Would love to do my newphew is in the Marines.

I did this for my grandsons graduation from The Marine Corp. It would be very difficult for a novice. It took me quite a while to do it but he loved it.

I stitched this Marine Corps Seal for a long time friend that entered the Marines out of High School. It was an amazing project for me and quite a challenge. It turned out beautiful.

I did a Marine Corps seal years ago but could not find it to frame it so back to the drawing board. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Especially with the lettering, which the other one I did did not have. I'm so happy I found this.

It is very difficult to differentiate between color symbols. Font used for the pattern is also very small, and when I try to enlarge it, the symbols become blurred and even harder to tell apart. I'm still going to try to make the piece - it looks like a good pattern, just poor design, making it more difficult than it has to be.

The pattern was difficult to piece together before starting to sew. I found it hard to accept the colors. Being a former 9 year Marine, the 1 and 2 square colors made it very frustrating.

I bought this to do in honor of my father who served in the Marine corps.
