Mini Black and White Road through Treesa Cross Stitch Pattern by Artecy Cross Stitch

I like patterns from Artecy as they blend there colors so you don't have to back stitch, I don't like backing stitching. I cross stitch usually in the evening & on bad weather days, so I like patterns that I can pick up days later & find just where I left off with out a problem & they turn out looking like a photo.

Received package fast and in good condition. This was my first, so to speak, black and white stitching. I stitched it on 14 count fabric rather than a smaller grid (but I can see a smaller grid would have a better realism to it, though 14 ct was just fine.) I color highlighted the chart to make it easier to keep track of my stitching . It was best to work in longer time segments than in quick spurts. Finish picture was definitely worth it. I worked this on 22 count Aida and nearly went blind. It changes colors all of the time and I got lost quite a bit - even with the pattern being blown up. If you work in smaller count fabric you need to take your time and take frequent breaks from it before it's done but once it's done it is so worth the effort. The actual finished project is so much more lovelier than the picture and it made a beautiful greeting card. I'm sure it will be a little easier working on larger count fabric but I love working in the smaller count and it came out exactly the way I wanted. Make sure you have really good lighting when working this - it makes your eyes go crazy it there is too much shadow on the fabric.
