This delicate Mock Orange cross stitch pattern is derived from an original gouache and dip ink pen painting done during a 100 Day Project about Saanich plants and their indigineous use (Victoria, BC). Mock Orange is a lovely plant with beautiful blooms, and the stems are so hard and straight they were often used for arrow shafts, and possibly also knitting needles. The flowing watercolour-style wash of creams and greys allows the detailed delicate linework of the Mock Orange cross stitch pattern to really shine.
As a bonus, this pattern also comes with a 20% discount code for any of the alphabet patterns on the Peacock & Fig site, in case you wanted to add your own quotes or text to the design. This pattern contains both a colour chart to work from, and a black & white one.
