Takes longer than it looks like it will.
I don't do Halloween decorating but thought this "mug" was so cute. I plan to do all of the monthly mugs eventually, but they actually take longer than I thought they would to complete. The spider webs on this piece are rather difficult, but where's there's a will, there's a way!

Have started doing counted cross stitch in hand, no hoop. Like it so much better

Colorful and festive
I love this pattern. I bought all 12 of the A Year of Mugs patterns and I am having so much fun. They are colorful, very festive and so cute. They are super quick to finish. I've enjoyed every month.

Material
I am interested in doing the mugs of the month....I am looking at using Jobelan or Lugana material. Do you think that white or antique white would work best? I am not sure that I am clear on the difference in the colors.

Beginning
Would this be a good project for a beginner? I’ve never cross stitched before but would really like to learn. This mug is super cute so I want to try it but worried I’ll be in over my head....
