Nuflex Book Light - Purple

Does this take batteries? I don't see a power cord so I'm assuming so. How long do the batteries normally last? What kind of wattage does this light have? Is the clip very good or does it start to fail after a few uses? So many questions....Does anyone recommend this light or would I be better going with the floor lamp or even the rechargeable version of this? Help a fellow stitcher out....<3
