October~Homespun Oaksa Cross Stitch Pattern by Gracewood Stitches

Fourth in my 'calendar' of months collection of designs, 'October~Homespun Oaks', is a reflection of my love/obsession with vintage textiles. My favorites are those that are woven and I have a particular place in my heart for homespun. All stitches are cross stitch. This pattern's background is the only thing stitched known as the Assisi style of needlework. If creating this design in needlepoint choose an off white wool for the motif. I hope you'll enjoy stitching my interpretation of fall colors and motifs on a homespun background.
