Looks more complicated than it is
The only thing I didn't like about this project is that absolutely everything had to be outlined and that's my least favorite thing to do. It wasn't hard to do, I just don't like doing it. I had it framed with a double mat of navy and red and a gold frame to catch the yellow in the butterfly. It turned out beautifully and will make a very impressive Christmas present!

1/2 stitch
Does anyone know if this pattern has a lot of 1/2 stitches? I'm looking for a straight forward kit with minimal 1/2 stitching. I am working on a pattern now that had a lot of 1/2 stitches and because it used 4 strands of floss it has caused the whole picture to look like the buildings are leaning so I'm apprehensive about a lot of 1/2 stitches.
