An original cross-stitch design based on antique samplers found in the York Museum Trust collection. The sampler features medallions, alphabets, and an assortment of flora & fauna. Stitched on 32 count linen (or 16 count aida) it would measure approximately 36.5 by 32.5 cm. When using two pulled strands of floss, between 59 and 79 metres of 6-stranded cotton is needed. This design features only full crosses.
