The colors were all so bright and cheery. I'm sure that children would love it. Santa's flight on Christmas Eve, coming to their houses soon.

This stocking is really cute when made up, but I had major problems with the amount of floss packaged with the kit. I ran out of all the reds, all the greens, the white, the black, some of the yellows, browns and golds, and both of the metallic threads. I've been stitching for over 30 years, and I'm not wasteful with floss - never ran out before, so I'm pretty sure it was a packaging problem and not me. Fortunately, the kit contained equivalent DMC color numbers, but the colors aren't exact matches. If I were ever to do another kit from this manufacturer (unlikely), I'd throw out their floss and use the equivalents from my own stash.

I made this stocking from a magazine pattern and I wish I would have bought this kit! It would have saved me a TON of money!!! Anyway I used some glow in the dark filament in addition to the floss for the moon, it turned out AMAZING! I also used a sparkley filament in addition to floss on the snow and I have to say I was VERY happy I did! It gave the stocking the perfect amount of sparkle! There are also some beads, but not tons. Just enough to make it fun! This stocking and pattern are just wonderful! I was able to finish it fairly quickly and LOVE that it was 14 count aida fabric...just that much easier to see. The picture just doesn't do the patter justice. I would absolutely buy this kit (buying the floss along was crazy expensive and I ended up with a TON extra).
