SARAH JUBY, 1781, A Norfolk samplera Cross Stitch Pattern by Crowsfeetstitching

This sampler is an early 18th century Norfolk sampler, with some of the features associated with Norfolk samplers. The sampler measures 169 stitches wide by 183 stitches high. It is stitched in full cross stitch, back stitch, and eyelets and so is suitable for linen. The booklet is in colour to allow the stitcher to identify the different coloured backstitching. I have included both the original brighter colour palette and the more muted front colour palette in the table below. The silk conversion is for the brighter palette.
