This scroll rod pair is for use in the E-Z Oak Frame when you don't want to buy a whole new frame but need the wider or narrower widths for needle arts projects when an embroidery hoop just won't do! Simply attach needle project to the 5/8in scroll rods using sticky back hook tape (not included) to keep work taut and scroll project easily as needed. This package contains two 30 inch rods (for projects that are either 30 inches wide or long) with loop tape already attached. Made in USA.

This is really a gripe about the way this product is listed in the catalog. It requires another product to work with it. It is a no baste system. Since this was not indicated in the catalog, I just blindly bought it. It would be a good idea for someone to actually explain what you're selling.

30" scroll rods
Your description refers to hook and loop tape already attached to the scroll rods, but I don't see it in the photo.... Is it a woven-twill type tape, one length of which is stapled to the entire length of the rod, so that the edge of cross stitch fabric can then be stitched to the tape? Or is it really one side (half) of a hook and loop tape system, with the other half to be attached to the working fabric by the embroiderer?
Thanks for your help. I'm hunting for 30" scroll bars with twill tape stapled to each bar, such that the cross stitch fabric can be sewn to the tape along the top and bottom edges.
