Love it!

I was very pleased with the sea babies. I love seahorses and like the option of stitching separate pictures to accompany the quilt and birth sampler. If you love sea creatures, you'll love sea babies.

Just What I Was Looking For

I love the variety of the different sea babies. I am making this for my new grandson whose nursery is going to be an ocean theme. The different colors of each "baby" keep the cross stitch from becoming boring. I would have liked to have seen the DMC threads listed under the supply list because that is what I use and I had to wait until I got my pattern to see what I needed to complete the sampler.

I bought the pattern to make a blanket and sampler for my new grandson. It's nice to work on a project that doesn't require changing color every 10 stitches but is still adorable. It's been fun to stitch!

Birth Record Fabric and GlissenGloss and Colorwash flosses Questions

Hello! I'm looking at ordering fabric to make the birth record. What size is the final product/what size fabric to you recommend getting to sew the birth record on? Also, I use DMC colors, which I saw the numbers are available in the booklet. However, are there DMC numbers for the GlissenGloss and Colorwash flosses? I'm not sure I've used those types of threads before.. just trying to make sure I have/order everything I need to get started! Thanks!

Project for 7 year old boy

Stamped cross stitch for baby blanket

I'm looking to make a baby blanket that is a stamped cross stitch pattern. I want the top to be 100% cotton & I do not want it quilted, as I have seen in most stores. I want to add my own back fabric & padding. All I seem to find now are cotton/poly quilted baby blankets. If you have these, I would like to see a variety of patterns. Thank you, Gay Bayless
