Supplies

On the supplies list it shows 1 of each color. Are these the only colors needed? Is this 1 length of 6 strands of each color ? How do I know how much I need of each color or is 1 length of each color mentioned all I need to complete the pattern? I'm a novice here and need some guidance. Thank you. Vanessa
