I am so excited to stitch this! After stitching on linen for a while 11 count was great and it is with 3-6 strands. The starting point was describe well. The only thing I would improve is the included needle. The eye was not big enough to get 6 strands through.

Am I correct in assuming that the only design is the front of the skirt that is shown? The poinsettias are for effect only???
Is there a split in the fabric to wrap around the tree base?
